Randolph & Judy Wilson Endowment provides unrestricted support for PCF’s local grantmaking programs in the Greater Pasadena area. Randy and Judy Wilson are long-time Pasadena residents. Randy grew up in South Pasadena, attended Stanford and Penn universities, and returned to Pasadena in the 1970s, when he became a real estate developer. Judy had a long career in local government, including the Director of Sanitation for the City of Los Angeles and Executive Officer at LA Metro. She arrived in Pasadena in 1980 as Pasadena’s Assistant City Manager, a role she held for 10 years. Judy retired in 2016 as the Director of Development at the Pasadena Community Foundation.
Both Randy and Judy have been actively engaged in the community, chairing a number of nonprofit boards, including the Pasadena Museum of History, Mothers’ Club Family Learning Center (now known as Families Forward Learning Center), and the West Pasadena Residents Association. With an ‘insider’s’ knowledge of the Foundation, Judy was impressed with the diligence of PCF’s board and the way in which it reviews grant applications and participates in site visits. As a result, Judy and Randy opted for an unrestricted endowment with the Foundation, which provides flexible support for PCF’s local grantmaking programs in the Pasadena area.
