Jim and Priscilla Gamb have built a rich life together. They share several passions including family, improving education, and the Pasadena community. They are both committed to helping local health organizations, and have set up this endowment fund to ensure that support will continue for many years.
Priscilla grew up in Pasadena and attended local public schools. She recently retired as Director of Volunteers at Huntington Hospital and has worked and volunteered at a number of nonprofit organizations in Pasadena. Priscilla was recently elected to join the Pasadena Community Foundation’s Board where she is an active member.
Jim spent his career in the investment management and used his significant financial expertise in service to various education and healthcare organizations. Jim remembers, “I fell in love with Pasadena fifty years ago while driving up Orange Grove to visit Priscilla who lived in a home above the Rose Bowl.” Jim also served on the Pasadena Community Foundation Board for ten years.
“We chose to dedicate our endowment to healthcare as a way to support the work of the foundation in this vital area, and to say thank you for the benefits to our family over the years.”
