Patrick Healy died in November, 2012 at the age of 27. He had lived with cancer for two years. With a courageous spirit, he made the decision to live every day with the time he had left. He married his fiancé Alicia Cooperman in September, 2012. In his final days, he donated the majority of his life savings to establish a charitable fund to support causes important to him. His parents, Michael and LeAnn Healy live in Altadena, and with Alicia’s input will act as advisors to the fund. The initial distribution to charity will be made by the family in 2013.
