Grant Program Overview

The mission of Pasadena Community Foundation is “building hometown legacies” — permanent endowments that support important causes right here in the greater Pasadena area. An integral element of that mission is our commitment to strengthening local nonprofits through grantmaking programs and endowment management services.

Grants

PCF’s grant programs provide support to nonprofits serving our area. Through a competitive grantmaking process, PCF identifies and funds worthy projects and programs that advance our directive of addressing “current needs unmet and future needs unforeseen” in Pasadena. See the current list of Grantees and learn about PCF’s impact in the Pasadena area.

PCF’s  grant programs award funding to local nonprofits in the following areas:

PCF offers additional grant programs by invitation only:

Endowment Management

PCF is committed to assisting nonprofit agencies, not only through our grant programs, but by partnering with them to manage their endowments. We call these Nonprofit Agency Funds.

Fiscal Sponsorship

Under certain circumstances, PCF will act as a fiscal sponsor so that a new organization seeking its own 501(c)(3) designation or a short-term project for public good can legally fundraise. Learn more about PCF Fiscal Sponsorship or contact Jennifer DeVoll at (626) 796-2097, ext. 101 or jdevoll@pasadenacf.org.
