Pasadena Community Foundation mourns the loss of Councilmember John J. Kennedy, who dedicated his life to our community and constantly strived to make it a better place for all.
At the request of the Kennedy family, those wishing to honor Councilmember Kennedy can make a donation to the Leola Sudduth and Thomas Foster Kennedy Scholarship Fund. This fund was established to honor the parents of the Kennedy children with a permanent legacy for the community in which they raised their family and were actively involved. It provides scholarships to outstanding college-bound African American youth from economically challenged backgrounds in the greater Pasadena area.
