Here for Good 2022 Friends & Fellows Campaign - Seven decades of unwavering commitment to the greater Pasadena area

Friends & Fellows

A gift to Friends & Fellows strengthens PCF’s investment in the Pasadena community

A gift to the Friends & Fellows Campaign supports PCF’s local grantmaking. Our donors facilitate PCF’s ability to fund the creation of housing, a vibrant arts scene, better community health, student enrichment and scholarships, assistance to vulnerable seniors, environmental preservation, and so much more.

In 2022, Friends & Fellows gifts provided critical support for PCF’s grantmaking, including:

The launch of the Petersen Scholars Program, which supports for 28 transitional age foster youth pursuing educational opportunities

An award of $200,000 in Affordable Housing Initiative funds to Heritage Housing Partners and the City of Pasadena to rehab a property for six unhoused PCC students

$64,000 in Senior Grants for six local organizations that assist elderly individuals

High-quality arts education for children and teens through the Rowe & Gayle Giesen Trust, a PCF endowment

$234,000 in partnership with the Pasadena Child Health Foundation for 13 organizations that prioritize children’s health, vitality, and safety

An expansion of our Education Grant Program to include early childhood school readiness. Now we support students from preschool through college

PCF’s donor services that maximize the impact of individual philanthropy.
