Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) is proud to announce its first round of grant awards in 2024. PCF oversees 11 grant programs each year, and the following awards represent funding for three of those programs, totaling $153,000.

Animal Welfare Grants

PCF’s Animal Welfare Grant Program  launched in 2021 to support nonprofits in the greater Pasadena area that are working towards creating a compassionate and caring community for all animals. PCF funds organizations and programs that serve the needs of both domestic animals and wildlife. This year, our focus was on organizations that support wildlife and wildlife habitat conservation.

Senior Grants

One of PCF’s longest operating grant programs, the Senior Grant Program supports organizations that work to meet the health needs of older adults living in the Pasadena area. PCF has a particular interest in home-bound seniors, a group that may be difficult to identify and/or connect with services. Since its launch in 2007, the Senior Grant Program has awarded nearly 100 grants for an impressive total of $844,500.
