Yes, Virginia Fund Announces Grantees

Pasadena Community Foundation and the 2015 Yes, Virginia Fund Committee are pleased to announce this year’s grantees! Each year, the Committee invites local non-profits to apply for grants that go to help children and families in need during the holidays. Funds go to the purchase of toys, books, and gifts, as well as special experiences in an effort to make sure that no child is forgotten during this special time of year. Here is a list of this year’s grantees:

  • Door of Hope
  • Elizabeth House
  • Flintridge Center
  • Friends Outside in LA County
  • Harambee Ministries
  • Impact House
  • Learning Works Charter School
  • Pasadena/Altadena LINKS
  • Mother’s Club
  • Treasure Little Children

The Yes, Virginia Fund was established in 1994 in an effort to help all children feel valued and supported in their lives. “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” means that no child is meant to go without. The Yes, Virginia Fund Committee and donors are committed to the credo:

“Some things have to be believed to be seen.””

Since its inception, the Yes, Virginia Fund has invested over $255,000 in the lives of children in our community.
