Pasadena Delta Academic Award Endowment

At the 2005 Annual Meeting of the Pasadena Delta Foundation, Inc (PDF), the PDF presented a check for $125,000 to the Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) to begin a permanent Academic Award Fund to support the ten annual Commemorative scholarships given annually by the Pasadena Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. The chapter has given over $380,000.00 to deserving Pasadena graduates. John Singleton, award winning film producer and John Kennedy, successful developer, are among the awardees. The Delta Academic Award Endowment Fund at PCF is now the main funding source for their local scholarships.
