FUND PROFILE

College Women’s Club of Pasadena Scholarship Foundation

The College Women’s Club of Pasadena Scholarship Fundraising Fund supports women pursuing college or graduate degrees, continuing the Club’s legacy of empowering female scholars since 1921. In partnership with PCF since 2016, the Club raises funds and selects recipients while PCF manages the endowment, ensuring its long-term, sustainable impact.

OVERVIEW

About the Fund

Founded in 1921, the College Women’s Club of Pasadena is truly an historic organization. The Club’s Scholarship Foundation allocates financial aid to one dozen or more full-time students each year who need financial help completing their college or graduate education. Club members raise funding through events, boutiques, and donations. Over its lifetime, CWC has granted approximately $1.3 million to more than 680 women.

In 2016, the Club made the decision to transfer the scholarship foundation’s $1.2 million endowment to the PCF, which now manages the endowment; Club members continue to raise funds and select scholarship recipients. This partnership ensures the perpetuity of the Club’s outreach and mission.
