The One Arroyo Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to supplement available public funding to complete enhancement projects for the Arroyo Seco. The mission of the organization is to preserve and enhance the Arroyo Seco’s valuable resources, including natural habitats, recreational and cultural venues, and historic sites. In 2024, with the unanimous support from the Pasadena City Council, the One Arroyo Foundation started its comprehensive program to restore, maintain and preserve Pasadena’s Arroyo Seco in partnership with the City of Pasadena. The Foundation’s initial project launched in August 2024 and will create a unified One Arroyo Trail connecting the three areas of the Arroyo Seco: Hahamongna, Central Arroyo, and Lower Arroyo. The One Arroyo Endowment Fund is a PCF Agency Fund, which allows a local nonprofit to pool its assets in a larger, diversified, and professionally managed portfolio with cost-effective investment management fees.
