Introduction

College Women’s Club of Pasadena Scholarship

This scholarship fund was established by the College Women’s Club of Pasadena to provide scholarships to young women in the Greater Pasadena area to help them complete their education.

Overview

About the Scholarship

Established in 1921, the College Women’s Club of Pasadena (CWC) has a rich history of supporting women in their educational pursuits. The Club’s Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance to over a dozen full-time students annually, aiding them in completing their college or graduate education.

To date, CWC has awarded more than $1.3 million to 680 women. In 2016, the Club entrusted its $1.2 million endowment to the Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) for management, while Club members continue to raise funds and select scholarship recipients. This partnership ensures the perpetuity of the Club’s mission and outreach.
