The Hasmik Mgrdichian Scholarship Fund for AIWA supports the Armenian International Women’s Association (AIWA) Los Angeles, which promotes and enriches the social, economic, and personal advancement of Armenian women worldwide. The mission is fulfilled through educational and other community activities that unite Armenian woman, enhance gender equality, and emphasize Armenian cultural heritage.
This is an agency fund at Pasadena Community Foundation, which allows a local nonprofit to pool its assets in a larger, diversified, professionally managed portfolio with cost-effective investment management fees. The organization is the sole beneficiary of the fund, which can opt to receive an annual payout to support operations.
